Kayla is passionate about helping children and teens feel understood, supported, and empowered. She has experience working with children navigating challenges such as anxiety, ADHD, behavioral concerns, depression, and autism.
In her sessions, Kayla incorporates play therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and other creative, child-centered approaches to help clients express themselves, build confidence, and develop healthy ways to manage big emotions. She strives to create a space where every child feels heard, accepted, and safe to be themselves.
Kayla also partners closely with parents and caregivers, offering practical tools and guidance to support progress at home and school. She meets each child where they are and moves at a pace that feels comfortable for them. Her warm, patient approach helps children feel supported as they grow and thrive.
Outside of her work, Kayla enjoys spending time with her son, exploring new travel destinations with her family, and creating personalized t-shirts and mugs in her spare time.
