If you're facing communication breakdowns, constant arguments, or feeling disconnected from your partner, therapy can offer support and guidance. Additionally, if you're considering separation or divorce, couples therapy can help explore whether reconciliation is possible and beneficial.

During the initial session, your therapist will gather information about your relationship history, current concerns, and goals for therapy. They'll explain their approach to therapy and discuss confidentiality and the roles of both partners in the process. It's an opportunity for both partners to share their perspectives and begin to identify underlying issues contributing to relationship difficulties.
-
A couples therapy session is 53 minutes. Generally, couples attend therapy weekly for at least 8 weeks in order to build some momentum. As progress is made, sessions may become less frequent.Your therapist will work collaboratively with you to determine the most effective treatment plan.
