Adults and Couples

Laura has extensive experience supporting individuals and families across all stages of life — from children to older adults. With over 20 years of experience in academic, clinical, and long-term care settings, she helps clients navigate life’s challenges, build resilience, and reconnect with a sense of joy and purpose.

Laura strives to create a client-centered environment that is supportive, collaborative, and empowering. Her approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and solution-focused techniques to help clients identify barriers, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and develop practical tools for lasting change.

Clients appreciate Laura’s ability to bring warmth, understanding, and authenticity to the therapeutic relationship. She works alongside her clients as a partner in their journey, helping them envision and move toward the life they want to live.

Laura earned her B.A. in Psychology, with a minor in Pastoral Ministry, from Saint Xavier University in Chicago, and her M.A. in Gerontological Counseling from Adler University. She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in both Florida and Indiana.

Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loves cheering on the Chicago White Sox and finds joy in staying active and enjoying all the benefits of city life.
